Abbey Meadows
Management of Community Building – Contribution to costs from taking over the running of the on-site Community Wing. The aim to enhance provision for parents and the local community by providing space and support staff to help respond to their needs.
Cherry Hinton Infants
Lunch-time club – Extension to the nursery hours available to cover the lunchtime period to help working parents.
Cherry Hinton Juniors
Stage for community wing – Project funding contributed to other match-funding raised to improve facilities open to the community, by the purchase of modular staging.
Colville
Internet access/information & advice – Purchase of resources and provision of a quiet area, to improvement access to a range of information on local services for pupils and parents.
Fawcett
Building links & offering group sessions – Staffing hours to support a programme of courses for parents on behaviour management etc, and to develop links with on-site providers to increase the activities offered.
Morley Memorial
After-school club – Resources to offer increased number of places and quality in the take over & running of the club.
Queen Edith
Activities and enrichment days in Literature & Drama held to strengthen the school’s bond with the community and further develop family learning.
Newnham Croft
Specialist support offered to children new to the English school system, through study support sessions.
Park Street
Resources purchased to enable clubs to be offered in Cookery, Gardening and Music.
Ridgefield
After-school club (with CUFC) – Support for the setting up of an after-school soccer club run in conjunction with Cambridge United FC.
The Spinney
Family Learning, Breakfast club/Study Support – Events supported for Family Learning week and the setting up of a new Breakfast club at the school. Funding also used to help groups of young people with their with homework & key skills.
St Alban’s
After-school clubs – Uptake of clubs increased and procedures, costs and publicity reviewed to enable all children access.
St Matthews
After school club & support – Extension to the school’s after-school provision, including a Tuesday Club to offer support and advice to children on issues that affect them.
St Paul’s
Equip/Breakfast club/Holiday provision – Replenishment of resources for the existing after-school club. Efforts to increase the take up of places at the breakfast club, and provision of activities in the school holidays
St Philip’s
Development of programme of events throughout the year, in partnership with others, to enhance the school’s culture of Family Learning.
Coleridge
Free Breakfast & Supervised Study Support – In partnership with Lunchtime UK, the scheme encouraged students to make use of the Learning Centre from 8am and to claim credits towards a free breakfast.
Netherhall
2 after school sessions Challenge Club – Held weekly to challenge and support gifted and talented pupils to raise their aspirations, attainments and achievement.
Parkside
Free Breakfast & Supervised Study Support – In partnership with Lunchtime UK, the scheme encouraged students to make use of the Learning Centre from 8am and to claim credits towards a free nutritious breakfast.
St Bede’s
Out of hours literacy support was resourced and weekly sessions set up.
